-11” walnut from crotch in tree-walnut oil and wax-rough turned, dried then re-turned, at this point I prefer less warping so symmetry is better, large crack was treated with very fine grind coffee and CA glue-I need to thin down my bowls but this had a large crack and I didn’t trust it any thinner, areas of open grain won’t sand out so I need advice regarding that, I’ve got a lot to learn!-our son is an arborist and this was taken from a tree job for his fiance’s boss so it will be a gift
