Many members brought in items to display on our tables. We had good membership attendance staffing the event to answer questions on the turnings.
We had a table at the far end of our display area where the money from the sales of these the turnings donated by members would go to the Channel 1 Food Bank. We also had a mini lathe setup where we turned tops and an occasional ‘Harry Potter’ wand for the kids and demonstrated turning bowls when we had crowd interest.
